Students switch seamlessly between English and Chinese daily. Foreign teachers guide them to express themselves, ask questions, and engage in discussions fluently in English, just as they would in their native language. Compared to peers, bilingual school students typically develop stronger logical thinking, independence, and self-management skills. Take homework, for example: we assign 20 minutes of English reading and 20 minutes of Chinese reading daily to help them review and reinforce knowledge while building time-management habits. 03 为什么把孩子送到双语学校学习？ 学业测试成绩斐然 君诚学校一年级学生经过 6 个月的双语学习后，参加 “哥伦比亚阅读测试”，超过 1/4 的学生都取得很好的成绩，并且每个学生都在自身的阅读基础上实现了个人成长和进步。从 2 年级起，每年两次参加美国小学生 MAP 测试，不少学生能考出和美国同年级学生相当的成绩。许多从 1 年级就读的学生，到了 7-8 年级，托福能考到 105 分左右的高分，日积月累，不费太多的时间，就在学校把英语学好了，节省了大量的时间和额外补习英语的费用。 After six months of bilingual education at SIBS, first-grade students take the Columbia Reading Assessment. Over one-quarter achieve excellent scores, and every student makes individual progress in their reading abilities. From second grade onward, they take the American MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) test twice a year, with many scoring comparably to their U.S. peers. Students who start at SIBS in first grade often score around 105 on the TOEFL (out of 120) by grades 7–8.
